Our mission: To collaborate with children’s charitable organizations, foundations, and fundraising events, that promote community growth, unity, education, and hope for every child’s future.
Our charitable members directly carry out the CWC mission through attendance at public events.
Each branch partners with organizations in their area to arrange CWC attendance at these events.
Members are able to sign up as event leaders, character performers, photographers, hero support (handlers), or other roles that the branch offers.
Members are expected to show up when they sign up for an event and perform their role to the best of their abilities.
Each member is expected to have reliable transportation, and the ability to meet the physical demands of volunteering.
While CWC is supportive of members’ creative and professional goals, members are not allowed to promote themselves or any businesses/external entities while attending events in an official capacity.

While our volunteers to give freely of their time and energy in support of our mission, there are benefits to being a part of CWC.
Getting involved with CWC is an amazing way to connect with other fans of your media of choice. We are all a bunch of nerds who love giving back to our community in a fun and exciting way!
It is also a way to make amazing contacts throughout the cosplay community, connect with photographers (or models) for future projects, and show off your creations!

Note that the amount of work we do around children requires a mandatory background check for all aspiring members.
